About the MCCA
The Mouse Cancer Clinic and Aging (MCCA) is a core facility at NKI that conducts preclinical intervention studies in mouse and rat models across a wide range of cancer types. Its mission is to support the development and evaluation of novel anti-cancer therapies with clear translational relevance. The MCCA consists of four closely collaborating units:
Intervention Unit
Conducts in vivo animal studies to evaluate therapeutic interventions.Imaging Unit
Supports and performs studies using advanced imaging technologies, including MRI, PET, IVIS, and ultrasound.Animal Modelling Facility
Develops and generates in vivo model systems that accurately mimic complex human diseases such as cancer.Pharmacology Unit
Responsible for:Designing stable formulations of experimental compounds
Developing bioanalytical methods (primarily LC-MS/MS)
Designing and executing pharmacokinetic studies
About the job
The MCCA is seeking to appoint a researcher at the level of Scientific support staff who, over time, will take responsibility for the Pharmacology Unit.
