The Netherlands Cancer Institute (NKI) is the only Comprehensive Cancer Center in The Netherlands (Amsterdam). It is a well-organized and dynamic cancer research institute accommodating over 50 research groups and advanced core facilities. It is an internationally renowned center covering fundamental, translational and clinical cancer research.
The department of Radiology, chaired by Professor Regina Beets-Tan, pursues high quality cancer diagnostics and interventional treatment.
We are looking for a software engineer to join the department of Radiology specifically the project group Artificial Intelligence.
We offer an ambitious candidate with a passion for and experience in artificial intelligence the opportunity to work within the AI project team which addresses the application of AI in the management of a radiological department.
- Masters degree in Business Analytics or Machine learning.
- Expertise in Software engineering, Data mining, Business Analytics, and Natural Language Processing.
- Proficiency in Python (and related libraries for machine learning)
- Prior work experience in automatic process management, scheduling algorithms, andorganizational analytics are a plus
Jouw ontwikkelingsmogelijkheden en arbeidsvoorwaarden
Your temporary employment is for a period of 2 years with a possible extension. The gross salary per month lies in the range of € 2.336,- and € 3.917,- euro a month. The terms of employment will be in accordance with the CAO Ziekenhuizen (Collective Labour Agreement for Hospitals) and can be consulted at http://www.nvz-ziekenhuizen.nl/cao-kenniscentrum/cao/download.
Amsterdam is a very lively city with many cultural amenities. The institute is located within a 20 minute tram or bicycle ride from the city center and within 20 minutes from Schiphol airport by car, bus or bicycle.
