The radiotherapy cluster of the Antoni van Leeuwenhoek is a dynamic department treating about 5000 patients per year with the most advanced techniques. Because of the strong interaction between our clinical and research groups we are able to quickly and safely bring innovations to clinical reality. Because of this, the Antoni van Leeuwenhoek is at the international forefront of radiotherapy.
The Antoni van Leeuwenhoek is actively involved in multiple projects that each aim for the sharing of data between institutes. These projects are focused on the latest developments in radiotherapy (MR guided radiotherapy and proton therapy) and by data sharing we wish to learn the added value of these new treatments.
We are looking for a data manager / data application specialist for these projects. Your role will be to implement the required infrastructure to upload the necessary data to the project databases and be responsible for the data acquisition and transfer. To this end multiple databases need to be coupled and in some cases data needs to be enhanced. You will work closely together with the medical and IT staff involved in the projects and the data science group of the radiotherapy department, consisting of postdocs, medical physicists and IT staff.
We are looking for a motivated data specialist with affinity for database architecture and data science , that wishes to take on the challenge to develop software on the boundary between research and clinic.
- Master of Science in a relevant field;
- Proven affinity with working with databases and the development of database architecture; preferably within healthcare;
- You are able to translate research and clinical wishes to IT solutions;
- Knowledge of Python or another programming language and SQL
- You can work independently and function well within a multidisciplinary environment.
Jouw ontwikkelingsmogelijkheden en arbeidsvoorwaarden
Naturally we are open for any initiatives that support your personal growth and our department. You will be employed for 1 year, with a possible extension to maximum 4 years. Terms of employment are conform CAO hospitals. Your salary will be, depending on experience, between € 2.665,- and € 3917,- gross per month for 36-hour week according to FWG 55. End-of year bonus is a standard secondary condition.
